Applications Analyst I/IT/Desktop Support
Job Description Applications Analyst will be responsible for the deployment, installation and maintenance of Student Health Services computer systems. Provides desktop support and programming services for the day to day operation of Student Health Services computer information systems. Participates in the installation and maintenance of new and existing software applications within Student Health Services. Provides support for the MS Windows OS and suite of products and other specialized software applications (i.e., clinic management systems - Point and Click, QS1, statistical packages, etc.) for Student Health Services. Provides guidance of system capabilities, utilization, storage, security, access, maintenance, and operational issues and confers with users, staff and IT Manager to discuss the revision of new and existing systems. Provides assistance and coordinates software training for users. Writes documentation, designs flow charts, and diagrams on system procedures and data for administrative use. Also participates in the writing of reports for the Point and Click Electronic Medical Record software. Oversees equipment inventory database of computer systems. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or programming and 3 years related experience, or equivalent education, training and experience. Preferred Qualifications Highly proficient in computer hardware and software troubleshooting and deployment. A+ certification and SQL Server experience preferred.
