Tenure Track Assistant Professor Ancient History
The Department of History at the University of San Diego seeks a tenure-track assistant professor in ancient history, beginning September 2015. Although the research specialization is open, the department expects the successful applicant to teach introductory and upper-division courses on Greek and Roman history and encourages the development of new specialized course offerings. Candidates should specify all areas in which they could teach. A commitment to teaching excellence, innovative research, and publication is required. The successful candidate must have a PhD in History or Classics at the time of appointment.
