Having appointed its inaugural Rector, Yachay Tech is now seeking an inaugural Head of the Department of Chemistry. The Department Head will be a tenured professor responsible for both the instructional and research activities of their Department, and for leading on its continued recruitment activities. The Head will oversee the teaching and research laboratories, and, working in close collaboration with the Dean, will establish new educational emphases and degree programs. He/she will also play a critical role in guiding and mentoring young faculty as they develop their academic careers within Yachay Tech. The post is full-time and based at Yachay Tech in Ecuador.
