Working Title: Study Abroad Advisor

Posting Information: Planning Events and Study Abroad Recruiting a.Design and Plan Pre-Departure Study Abroad Orientations (1 each semester) and a summer pre-departure orientation for spring semester b.Assist with: International Education Week and International Festival c.Recruit Study Abroad Students: aa.Participate in Open Houses sponsored by WCU each semester bb.Participate in Freshman Orientations (summer) cc.Making Classroom Presentations to recruit Study Abroad students dd.Organizing Study Abroad Tables, one week, each semester (or planning a Study Abroad Fair) d. Design Re-entry Orientation Professional Activities a. Teach the international section of the LEAD course each fall. b. Attend NAFSA, NCAIE, NAFSA Regional conferences, etc. c. Visit partner institutions to become knowledgeable of the site(s)

Minimum Training & Experience Requirements: Master degree in international education or related field; knowledge of one foreign language; overseas living experience; expertise in crisis management.
