Position Summary: Health Information Technology (HIT) at Michigan State University, located in East Lansing, Michigan, is searching for an experienced individual to serve as clinical application analyst; as part of the HIT clinical systems team, the successful candidate will be actively responsible for the ongoing implementation, improvement, operation, and support of the GE Centricity practice Solution EHR and its supporting applications; this position is expected to maintain a high level of technical expertise in traditional IT (server/ workstation/ network management, etc.) and healthcare IT (clinical workflows, medical device management, etc.); the successful candidate is expected to be a team member responsible for successful implementation and support of clinical IT solutions within the organization.

Bachelor's degree in business management, business administration, computer science or other information technology related area; five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in system administration and enterprise application configuration, including related technical experience demonstrated through possessing a high level of technical expertise in the following technologies: MS Windows Server and workstation; Active Directory; VMWare, VDI, Citrix; data management and manipulation; TSQL, MS SQL Server, and SQL Server Reporting Services; and network management; experience in the leadership of large, complex information system projects.

Typing Requirements (wpm):

Desired Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft IIS and jBoss; CSS, HTML, C#, C; HTML, HTML 5, JavaScript; Visual Studio; ITIL processes/certification; GE Centricity Practice Solution; Kryptiq applications: Secure Messaging, Patient Portal, Automated Clinical Messaging, DocuTrak, CareManager, and eSM (electronic prescriptions); and PACS, medical device integration.
