Key Functions and Expected Performances

1. Plans and develops the event or program/service in order to meet established goals, objectives and timelines
a. Provides input into the establishment of goals and objectives for the event or program/service
b. Determines the content and details of the event or program/service
c. Continuously compiles reviews and analyzes event or program/service outcomes against the established goals, objectives, and timelines.
d. Recommends improvements to the event or program/service.
e. Identifies, researches, and selects the facilities necessary for the event or program/service. Schedules facilities as appropriate.
f. Solicits volunteers, students, and/or other staff members to help in the execution of the event or service.
g. Prepares grants for submission. Prepares forms such as personnel, purchasing and payroll.
h. Provide support to research which may include web and library research, manuscript composition/ development. Compile data and summarize findings.
i. Creates and runs database queries and reports and updates database as necessary.
j. Coordinates special projects (e.g. seminars, mass mailings), which may include preparing presentations using a variety of formats (presentations software, etc.)

Basic Qualifications

Job requires Bachelor's and 1 year of experience or the equivalent.
