Job Summary:

Posting Description: To teach undergraduate or graduate level courses for the Religious Studies Program in the Philosophy Department on a semester by semester part time basis (one or more courses per semester) as needed depending on course schedules. Course sections will vary term to term and may include required courses and/or technical electives. Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: course instruction, course syllabus preparation per the approved campus template, class preparation, examinations, quizzes, homework, grading and maintaining posted office hours for student consultations. Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of a MA degree in a related field.

Required Competencies/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Desired Qualifications: We are looking for a scholar in Religious Studies whose expertise is in the area of Islamic Studies. Might also be asked to teach introductory courses, such as World Religion. Demonstrable record of excellence in teaching.
