An outstanding candidate for a full-time, tenure-track, assistant or associate professor level position in pharmaceutical sciences is being sought by The West Virginia University School of Pharmacy (http://pharmacy.hsc.wvu.edu/Pages/Positions). The School is located in the comprehensive Health Sciences Center with excellent opportunities for collaborations with scientists and clinicians in medical and pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, physics, and chemistry. The School offers interdisciplinary PhD research training programs in biomedical sciences and a professional PharmD program. The School is ranked in the top twenty percent of all schools/colleges of pharmacy as reported in US News and World Reports and admits a student body which consistently ranks in the top ten percent of all schools/colleges as determined by entering GPA.

Qualifications: PhD, MD, or equivalent degree with a research experience in pharmaceutical science or related discipline. Teaching experience in pharmaceutics or related areas is highly desirable. For an appointment at the associate professor level, appointee is expected to have an actively funded research program; appointee at the assistant professor level must demonstrate potential to obtain extramural funding.
