The Senior Vice President provides leadership to ensure we meet the highest standards in our academic and technical offerings by forming long-term relationships with business, industry, and community leaders to ensure our programs are relevant, timely, and support the needs of employers in the region. The Senior Vice President is responsible for the learning culture, outcomes, and experience associated with the College’s academic and student development programs and services. The position reports to the President and is charged with fostering exceptional productivity and excellence in his/her direct areas of responsibility (Academic Affairs, Corporate and Community Education, College Transitions, and Student Engagement/Services). The Senior Vice President is responsible for ensuring vitality, rigor, responsiveness, and innovation in academic curricula, including integrated co-curricular programs and services as well as non-credit instruction. The role of this senior administrator also fosters proactive and receptive collaboration with diverse constituencies in order to ensure the College exceeds expectations in living its mission. The Senior Vice President represents the President in his/her absence. A master’s degree plus seven years of progressively responsible related work experience required. Additional qualifications to be considered: An Earned doctorate; teaching experience in a community college setting; demonstrated skill in leading complex initiatives to successful conclusion with diverse constituents; exceptional oral and written communication skills; and a creative and courageous leader and problem solver.
