Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, the Director of Recruiting develops best-practice recruiting strategies to meet the current and future staffing needs of Tufts University. Leading a team of recruiters/sourcers to develop proactive recruiting strategies that build candidate pipelines, convey a sense of urgency, and ensure that positions are filled in a timely, cost-effective manner, in keeping with the university's strategic and diversity goals, across Tufts University's schools and campuses, the Director helps to grow both the Human Resources brand and the Tufts University employment brand, by promoting the value of working at Tufts University. In partnership with the Director of Training, Learning, and Development, the Director is responsible for contributing to HR programs that support organizational culture and drive engagement.
1.A minimum of 10+ years' progressive experience in sourcing and full cycle recruiting. 5 years of staff management.
2.Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with HRIS, ERP, and applicant tracking systems.
4.Currency in both federal and state employment regulations, including EEOC.
5.Proven organization skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands.
6.Polished interpersonal, facilitation and team building skills.
7.Strong written and oral communications skills.
