The successful candidate will have a proven track record in college admissions or a company selling within the higher education industry. Experience in an admissions/sales/business development capacity in a fast-paced and high-growth environment is advantageous. Candidate must have demonstrated experience in successfully managing a territory, travel, established college admission/financial aid relationships, and exceeding expectations. This position can be located anywhere nationally, with a home office. Key Objectives 1. Manage a geographic territory calling on Dean/Vice President level contacts in Admissions and Financial Aid 2. Embrace the business development strategies of the company to most effectively win, retain and grow Student Aid Services revenues in the Higher Education market 3. Achieve individual and team revenue quotas for multiple product lines 4. Succeed in attaining goals for client retention, contract extensions and product/service up and cross-selling 5. Meet expectations for time management, exceed goals, and embrace business travel. Responsibilities • Ability to travel up to 50% (or greater) of the time • Create and execute product/service sales strategies and plans with aggressive goals • Responsible for direct sales to clients/prospects and have a high level of comfort with effective outreach programs; including phone, email, public speaking, and conference programs • Perform effective client relations activities to develop long-term and mutually beneficial relationships with key clients and prospects • Personally perform direct sales, client relations and industry activities • Perform assigned administrative duties Requirements & Qualifications: • BS/BA degree • Substantial experience and relationships in the Higher Education market • 3+ years sales/business development experience selling at a senior/decision-maker level or equivalent college admissions experience • Stable job history with consistent growth in job responsibilities and performance • Strong results orientation with a strong competitive drive • Ability to thrive within a high-expectation, high-performance, metrics-focused team • A positive and collaborative team member who is self-driven and motivated • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including excellent presentation skills • Ability to work successfully on multiple assignments simultaneously • Strong commitment to support peer success and teamwork • Proficient with Microsoft Office and excellent PC skills and Sales Tracking Systems • Attention to detail and accuracy • Flexible to adjust to changing priorities and assignments • Commitment to continuous improvement • Dependable, trustworthy, and high-level of integrity Student Aid Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
