Placement Range: $12.10 - $13.32

General Description: The Human Resources Benefits Assistant will perform a variety of administrative, clerical and secretarial activities in support of the Human Resources office.

Minimum Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED. Two years full-time clerical/administrative work experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to multi-task and balance people demands with office operations. Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize conflicting demands. Strong computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse campus community and outside applicants. Positive, enthusiastic and energetic human relations skills. Accurate keyboarding, filing, and spelling skills. Ability to recognize and maintain strict confidentiality.
