Posting Description: The registrar's office is responsible for maintaining a database of all official records related to enrolled students, faculty teaching, course scheduling, course enrollment and graduation. We assist prospective students once they have confirmed their admission to the University and continue to support current students and alumni. We are committed to the education of our students and our goal is to serve you ethically and responsibly. *Needs and content area:* * Working under the guidance of the Communications Manager, develops the communication plan for the Office of the Registrar and is responsible for several communication campaigns supporting students, faculty and staff. This includes, but is not limited to, e-mail communication, social media, student portal and the registrar website. Ensures that all electronic media are fully utilized and coordinated with all printed campaigns by working closely and collaboratively with registrar staff members. * Responsible for the development and maintenance of content for the Office of the Registrar website, and the continued review of all updates/changes to the website under the supervision of the Communications Manager. Review of all user-supplied content for grammar, clarity and depth of content. * Responsible for maintenance Office of the Registrar Intranet (wiki) under the supervision of the Communications Manager. * Consults with the Communications Manager when assessing the effectiveness of the communications campaigns within the Registrar's office. Responsible for learning and implementing new and more efficient ways of using communication applications, as well as providing operational/production support for its use within the Office of the Registrar. Works closely with the information technology and operations areas on technical matters pertaining to electronic communications and consults with supervisor as needed. * Responsible for the editing of all publications that contain content specific to the Office of the Registrar, including the Catalog, Summer Bulletin, Ralphie's Guide, etc * Oversees the monitoring of incoming e-mails/phone calls/visits from students, faculty and staff through communications with office staff. Minimum Qualifications: *Minimum Qualifications:* * A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; * Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in managing communication projects and/or marketing campaigns; * Intermediate understanding of HTML and/or an HTML editor. * Experience with a Student Microsoft Office applications.

Desired Qualifications: *Preferred Qualifications:* _Preferred qualifications may be used to further reduce the pool of applicants to those who are most highly qualified._ * A Master's degree in a communications, marketing, advertising or closely related field; * Experience specifically managing electronic communication projects and/or electronic marketing campaigns; * Experience in a registrar's office or in higher education; * Experience with PeopleSoft/Oracle software applications including Commgen and CRM; * Advanced experience with HTML and/or an HTML editor; * Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and/or other Adobe Creative Suite applications; * Website management skills; * Experience with Drupal; * Knowledge of CU-Boulder. * Candidates with the ability to communicate in Spanish.
