Job Description Summary: Adjunct Instructors needed to teach CRIT 100: Critical Thinking & Analytical Reading. This course uses a content-based approach to teach developmental students how to effectively read and study textbooks/e-books and prepare for exams typical of college courses. The course includes vocabulary development, organizational strategies, and a reading fluency component. Required Qualifications: Master’s Degree in subject matter with previous teaching experience or a combination or education and experience commensurate with the duties of this position. Other Information: All applicants must demonstrate the ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods, relate to students and facilitate student learning. Excellent organization and communication skills as well as the demonstrated use of instructional technology are required.
