New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) seeks an Assistant Provost for Strategic Academic Initiatives to strategize, supervise implementation, follow-up, and manage new academic initiatives, programs, and revenue sources established by Provost in such opportunity areas as: English Language Institute, certificate and executive programs, global programs, summer programs, and online programs. In collaboration with NYIT Deans in New York and at global campuses, the selected candidate will develop new initiatives, strategic partnerships, business plans, and other entrepreneurial endeavors that will incubate new revenue sources for NYIT. He or she will strategize communications, create implementation and maintenance plans, and oversee the associated financial and budgetary operations and business plans. This position will require both domestic and international travel. Master’s degree and a minimum of ten years academic administrative experience related to the business, budgetary and financial planning required. Doctorate degree preferred. The selected candidate must also possess experience in running and maintenance of industry-university programs and excellent oral and written communication skills.
