Temporary Business Learning Coordinator - School of Business

Duties and Responsibilities - Coordinates and assists in the redesign of targeted business courses to promote student learning and retention through collaborative, experiential and technology-rich learning strategies; - Coordinates professional development opportunities and resources for School of Business faculty to encourage collaborative, experiential and technology-rich learning practices; - Assists with the assessment, data collection and reporting of metrics associated with student learning, retention and graduation rates in the School of Business; - Assists with compliance to all grant-related reporting requirements; - Coordinates and manages activities in the School of Business LearnLab; - Manages the School of Business student peer mentoring program, including supervision of all student peer mentors; - Assists with assessment of student learning outcomes in targeted courses; - Assists faculty in using Smart classroom technology, lecture capture, iPads in the classroom, social media, and other current instructional technology; - Keeps current with new and existing learning and instructional design theories, best practices, and new technologies being used to enhance student learning, engagement and retention; and, - Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Education Earned doctorate in a Business or Education field required.

Required Licenses and/or Certifications NA

Type and Amount of Experience Needed - At least three (3) years of teaching experience at a university, preferably in a business program. - Experience in curriculum development, innovative teaching techniques and pedagogy, and knowledge of experiential and collaborative methodologies to improve student learning and retention. - Demonstrated experience in infusing technology into traditional classroom teaching to foster student achievement. - Demonstrated ability to work effectively with colleagues and others in a collaborative, constructive manner. - Experience in program development and supervising students.

Preferred Qualifications - At least three (3) years of experience teaching at a university in a business program preferred. - Experience in program development and supervising students preferred. - Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in experiential, collaborative and technology-rich learning preferred.
