Independently coordinate and assist in activities involved in the processing and implementation of ne or modified physician templates. Effectively work with users to understand their questions/applications issues. Assist in preparations for data conversation, systems upgrades and new system implementations. Provide reports as required.

Key Functions and Expected Performances:
  1. Independently coordinate and assist in the collection, processing and implementation of new or modified physician templates
    1. Accurately collect data from leaders, physicians and/or management to make correct changes to the EPIC provider templates and system
    2. Collaborate with Health Care Analyst Programmers to determine use of various EPIC functions to resolve specific template issues
    3. Ability to prioritize EPIC requests and projects and request assistance as needed
  2. Effectively work with users to understand their questions/applications issues
    1. Maintain EPIC templates daily by inputting customers' requests for changes
    2. May use the EPIC test system to test template to ensure correct functionality
  3. Assist in preparations for data conversions, systems upgrades and new system implementations
    1. Assist with EPIC testing when version enhancements are completed (1-2 year cycle)
    2. Assist with Capacity Management group website application, including testing, design and implementation
    3. Assist with training staff on new EPIC template design upon completion of project
    4. Assist in creating documentation for new EPIC processes upon completion of project
  4. Provide reports as required
    1. Update project tracking tool on a weekly basis with new project and status
    2. Generate reports to assist customers in determining where new EPIC processes or templates would support improved operational or patient experience
    3. Recommend EPIC changes to better meet customer needs

Basic Qualifications

Job requires High school graduate or GED and 2 years of experience or the equivalent.
