Dean of Students Department
Master's degree with four years experience.

This position requires compliance with University confidentiality policies.
Assists the Dean of Students with the development of the annual operating budget and staffing responsibilities for the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities, the Office of Greek Life and Office of Withdrawals. Assists the Dean of Students with the development and implementation of policies and procedures. Provides departmental direction and resolves issues that arise within the department.
Participates in the review and planning on issues and concerns related to students and the University and assists in emergency situations involving students. Collaborates and serves as liaison to internal constituencies and outside University units to successfully support departmental, division, and University goals and objectives.
Serves as a student advocate. Serves as disciplinary officer, conducts hearings ad appeals related to compliance with the Student Code of Conduct. Provides guidance and facilitates resolution of student matters and crises.
Directly oversees the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities, the Office of Greek Life and the Office of Withdrawal Services. Identifies and evaluates departmental personnel issues, staffing needs, structure, and facility and space needs. Supervises and directs the work of USPS, A&P, and OPS employees and completes performance evaluations as required.
In association with other Associate Dean, serves in the absence of the Dean of Students and assumes overall responsibility of the department.
In association with other Associate Dean, responsible for the administration of emergency loans.
