Anticipated Salary Range
Anticipate hiring at or near $33,390.
A Bachelor's degree and one year of complimentary experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to five years. Candidates must have public speaking experience, computer skills, a working knowledge of admissions/University policies and procedures, and be well-versed in the benefits of a comprehensive education. Must have a valid Florida or Georgia driver's license or the ability to obtain.
Background Check Requirements
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check to include fingerprinting.
This position requires compliance with University confidentiality policies.
A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of complimentary experience is preferred. We seek energetic candidates who are detail-oriented and who work well independently and in a team. Requires the ability to review, analyze, formulate, and organize data and information and follow through on all assignments. Candidates should be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others and communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Candidates should have a strong sense of initiative, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities concurrently. Making sound judgments while working in a deadline-driven environment is essential.
Overnight travel (approximately eight  weeks of travel per year) evening, weekend, and extended hours are required, especially during the fall semester and from January through March.
Responsible for the review of freshman and transfer student applications. Also responsible for the planning and coordination of recruiting events and activities for prospective students, such as high school visits, college fairs, Preview, etc. Additional responsibilities include extensive contact with the public by phone, e-mail or in person (through group and individual information sessions). Overnight travel (approximately eight  weeks of travel per year) evening, weekend, and extended hours are required, especially during the fall semester and from January through March. Position will have supervisory duties managing several undergraduate admission officers, and assist in hiring and training these employees. Manages the awarding of all admission scholarships and/or tuition waivers and counsels current students regarding admission scholarships. Coordinates recruitment schedules and activities. Other duties and projects may be assigned by the Director of Admissions, or other senior staff members as needed.
This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.
