Position Summary:

The Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions is a member of the Admissions and Recruiting Team, reporting to the Director of Graduate Recruitment and Admissions. The Assistant Director has responsibility for assisting with the admissions pipeline process and activities (driving inquiries to application) for the programs in the Graduate School of Business Administration (GSBA) which include the Full-time MBA, the Evening MBA, the MS Finance, the MS Finance/MBA, and the MS in Technological Entrepreneurship. The Assistant Director participates in and supports the execution of pipeline support activities which include regular communication with inquiry and pre-application populations and responding to specific inquiries.

The Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions will also participate in processing and reviewing applications, tracking decisions, and updating student records in the web-based ApplyYourself and Connect systems.

The Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions will participate in recruiting activities throughout the year both locally and those which may require travel, including corporate on-site visits and information sessions; MBA and graduate school fairs and forums; university events; GSBA general information sessions and program-specific sessions.

In addition, the Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions will participate in implementing on- and off-campus recruiting and yield events including information sessions and open houses for admitted candidates.

In addition, the College of Business Administration is committed to raising visibility by improving its position in the business school rankings. The efforts of the Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions will be critical in this regard.
