Position Summary: Student Wellness seeks two (2) Coordinators who will serve as members of a larger team of professionals, and provide programmatic and strategic efforts through a comprehensive and holistic effort to create a healthier and safer Carolina Community. Under the leadership and direction of the Assistant Director for Health Promotion and Prevention Initiatives, the Coordinators will assist with ongoing visioning, development, implementation, and evaluation of health and wellness efforts at UNC Chapel Hill.

Education Requirements: A Master's degree in public health, health promotion, health policy, higher education, social work, communication, planning, or a related field is required. A Master's degree in public health and Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and or Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to pursue is preferred.

Qualification and Experience: Experience: A successful candidate will have 2-3 years of related work experience (can include graduate school), ideally in a higher education environment. Knowledge experience in public health, health promotion, prevention, health equity, social change models principles, student development theories practice, and appreciation passion for holistic integrated and culturally relevant wellness models, including a broad cultural competence and awareness of intersectionality of identities. Evidence of ability to provide leadership and problem-solving skills in analyzing health and wellness needs of emerging adults, especially college students. Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills. Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, with other technology and social media experience desired.
