Working collaboratively with colleagues from across the institution, but especially within the Academic Affairs division, the Registrar will be responsible for managing all operations related to student records and registration. The Registrar will report to the Associate Dean for Student Success and Retention and will be a key leader at the College. Responsibilities: Manage and direct all operations of the Registrar’s Office, including course schedule preparation, registration, classroom and general scheduling, grade reporting, transcript certification, degree and graduation certification, FERPA compliance, support for academic advising, enrollment verification and enrollment reporting. • Supervise office personnel; including guiding them and overseeing their work to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, ethical practices and the guidelines of the college, government entities and accrediting bodies. • Prepare, develop, and supply internal reports • Collaborate with the Office of Institutional Effectiveness on government reports. • Advise students on academic matters and progress toward degree. • Oversee eligibility certification for student athletes as required by the athletic conference, NCAA, and college rules and regulations • Serve on committees as needed. Requirements: • Master’s degree preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of higher education experience with increasing responsibility in the area of registration/records or admissions. • In-depth knowledge of current best practices in student records management, degree progress, and registration. Strong working knowledge of a student information system (Banner preferred) and report writing (Argos preferred). • Extensive knowledge of current technology and how it can be applied effectively • Outstanding interpersonal skills along with a service minded orientation while still adhering to deadlines. • Demonstrated success at collaborating with a wide range of campus constituencies. • Strong organizational, writing, speaking, and supervisory skills. • Must be creative and forward thinking in meeting the challenges of today while planning effectively for the future, particularly in regard to technology and enrollment management goals How to Apply: St. Norbert College is an Equal Opportunity Employer dedicated to enhancing the diversity and cultural competency of its students, faculty, professional staff and administration.
