Duties and Responsibilities: The Department of Accounting and Business Law in the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago seeks a new Chairperson to begin in the fall of 2015. The anticipated rank is Professor with tenure, and the position is subject to budgetary funding and approval.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have earned a Doctorate in Accounting from an AACSB accredited institution, display a strong and continuing research record, show a commitment to teaching, and possess demonstrated leadership capabilities. Teaching responsibilities will include both undergraduate and MSA courses. Quinlan's Accounting program is expanding, and the new Chairperson will have the opportunity to recruit two junior research-oriented tenure-track faculty during the first year of the appointment. Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA) is expected. Quinlan provides a highly competitive compensation package.
