Position Summary:
The Director of Marketing, Graduate Programs develops and executes marketing plans in support of all MBA and MS programs. This position oversees the implementation of marketing plans, including advertising, web content, social campaigns, collateral generation, and more, with scrupulous attention to timelines, deadlines, and University positioning guidelines. A major component of this role is to manage the web presence of all graduate business programs. S/he leads the implementation of positioning graduate programs with prospective students, current and prospective employers, and other campus constituencies. S/he participates in the development of strategic outreach, marketing, and communication plans to help position Northeastern well within an increasingly competitive business school industry. The Director of Marketing will also be responsible for managing and developing a team of marketing professionals.

This position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with a minimum of 7 years prior work experience in marketing and communications, preferably in a competitive business school or corporate setting. Experience developing marketing collateral, web content, and social campaigns for both broad and targeted audiences. Experience in developing and executing marketing plans in support of enrollment goals is critical to success. Strong communications and writing skills are a necessity. Ability to analyze marketing data and drive continual improvement is a core focus of this role. Experience in managing and developing teams is important.
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, Master’s degree preferred. Successful candidates must also demonstrate strong organizational skill, strong customer service orientation, ability to work effectively in an independent setting and to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
