Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Instructor of Religious Studies
The Department of Religious Studies at the College of Charleston invites applications for a one-year full-time visiting assistant professor or visiting instructor position in religious studies for the 2014-15 academic year. Responsibilities include teaching four undergraduate courses per semester. Courses to be taught will likely include world religions, religion and society, approaches to religion, and/or upper-level religious studies courses within the candidate’s specialty area. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in undergraduate teaching. A successful candidate will have a PhD or be ABD in religious studies. ABD hires will be at the
Visiting Instructor rank.
