Summary: The Associate Director of Admissions is responsible for the overall successful operation, training and monitoring of the campus Admissions Office. Coordinates with department managers to implement student enrollment strategies and manage resources in order to meet performance expectations. Provides leadership in the execution of the business plan, the control of the expenses and other managerial functions, as needed. The Associate Director of Admissions ensures that SAE the philosophy and values of SAE are clearly communicated to potential students while demonstrating deep academic program knowledge in creative media education. The Associate Director of Admissions provides leadership and mentorship to his teammates, assists in the execution of the business plan, the control of the expenses and other managerial functions, as needed and drives to help his team achieve the campuses quantitative and qualitative goals while exhibiting professionalism, compliance and ethics, accuracy and passion for creative media education. Essential Duties and Accountabilities: • Develops, directs and coordination the development, direction and coordination of student enrollment activities 
 • Ensures that objectives, plans, budgets, policies, practices and actions are consistent with the overall Admissions Department • Participates in the development and execution of both short-term and long-term student recruitment strategy in the field to ensure the objectives are met and implements approved programs
 • Ensures quality hires and manages compensation and performance management programs to stay within salary budget
 • Recruits and hires new staff, which includes interviewing prospects 
 • Delegate responsibilities to teammates • Carries out management responsibilities which include the following: planning, assigning and directing work of subordinates; appraising their performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
 • Demonstrates SAE Values in the completion of all job assignments
 • Adheres to laws and regulations governing student recruitment activities • Assist in creating and maintaining the admissions operations manual. Responsible for the completed product • Completes other project sand duties as assigned • Review Admissions Leads Activity report weekly; work with National Director of Admissions and Campus Director as necessary Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree desirable
 • 5+ years of previous admissions experience preferred
 • Management experience required
 • Keen mind with a strong work ethic; has high energy and is committed team player with excellent leadership capabilities • Strong computer skills –with Microsoft WORD, Excel, Outlook for MAC • Ability to train and develop subordinates
 • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are required
 • Ability to lead and manage a team
 • Capacity to be a self-starter
 • Demonstrable organizational and time management skills – ability to multi-task • Ability to achieve success individually and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment • Possesses excellent verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and good written communication skills • Persistence combined with a positive attitude and approach to work and others – self-motivating work style • Mature, positive and collaborative interpersonal skills • Possesses a thorough understanding all applicable school systems and tools, and uses them effectively: Salesforce.com, CampusVue • Possesses a thorough and demonstrable level of knowledge of school programs, with a demonstrated ability to match a prospective students needs to the correct program fit • Possesses a deep understanding of the school’s knowledge and accreditation standards • Must be skilled in both oral and written communication in order to be able to make presentations to members of the management team • Superior research and analytical skills • Detail orientated • Great problem solving and process improvement abilities • Ability to meet tight deadlines working with team members outside of Admissions • Must read, write, and understand advanced English • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function for this position • Strong collaboration and team working ability • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A.
