Associate Director, Records & Evaluations, Enrollment Services (Job 1011481)

Position Description The Associate Director of Records & Evaluations is responsible for planning, directing,and evaluating the administration of processes and student services related to transfer credit evaluation, graduation evaluation, and student records maintenance. Provides vision, leadership, and guidance in implementing the policies and directing the operational functions associated with efficient, accurate, and timely processing of student records, grades, transcripts, transfer credit evaluation, and graduation evaluation. Analyzes statistics to identify graduation roadblocks and recommend solutions. Develops messages and delivery timelines for all student communication related to registration, grading, transfer credit evaluation, and graduation evaluation. Hires, trains, and supervises staff to foster a supportive and responsive culture of customer services. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Thorough knowledge of registration processing systems and applications. Ability to interpret and apply academic and administrative policies and procedures to records, transfer credit evaluation, and graduation evaluation processes and systems. Proven ability to analyze user needs and translate them into detailed specifications. Proven ability to design, develop, implement, and maintain complex technical rules in support of business processes. Demonstrated analytical an problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability to develop and interpret statistical reports to identify trends. Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise and manage staff. Ability to coordinate workflow, carry out assignments without detailed instructions, and to work effectively with faculty, peers, and subordinates. Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student, and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence." Education and Experience Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of three years of related experience required, a minimum of five years of experience preferred. Master's degree preferred. Time Base/Hours/Units per Week Full Time, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, 40 hours per week Salary $5,319 - $6,800 per month.
