Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor Residency Program Director
Budget Title: Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor
Salary: Commensurate with Experience
Campus: Stony Brook West Campus/HSC
Required Qualifications: MD with Board Eligible/ Board certified in Adult Psychiatry. New York State license eligible.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in resident and/or medical student education with leadership-equivalent responsibilities. Familiar with the new ACGME CLER accreditation process and the Milestones concept.
Responsibilities & Requirements: Program Director of ACGME-accredited General Psychiatry Residency Program to include accredited Fellowships in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine. Some clinical responsibilities will be associate with this position and there are ample opportunities for research.
Special Notes: This is a non-tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Able to provide cross-coverage. Anticipated start date: as soon as possible.
