FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Department of Nursing invites applications for an Adjunct Lecturer position in the Surgical Technology Program to teach undergraduate courses in Surgical Technology. Student advisement, committee participation, and scholarly activity required. Candidate must perform clinical and/or didactic teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. Candidate must share responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor of Science degree in related field required; Master's degree preferred
- Graduate from CAAHEP accredited Surgical Technology Program
- NBSTSA Certification
- Recent clinical experience required
- Prior teaching experience in an academic setting; knowledge of and commitment to Associate Degree Surgical Technology Education and curriculum development
- Evidence of scholarly activity preferred.

Also required are the ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.

COMPENSATION

$64.84 - $80.70 per hour; commensurate with qualifications and experience.
