Anticipated Salary Range
$55,000 to $70,000 based on experience and qualifications.

Master's degree in Education along with current Florida State Certification in Education. Six years experience working in collaboration with school-based instructional teams, school and district administrator, and families of students with disabilities. Working knowledge of federal laws associated with special education and least restrictive environments. Previous experience with design and development of presentations using Microsoft Power-Point.

Prefer background in research-based staff development activities and demonstrable ability to train and facilitate adult learners. Possess organizational, collaborative, and interpersonal skills; multi-tasking and follow through capability, and the ability to oversee collection and coordination of data. Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including schools, district administrators, university faculty, families, and community agencies. Experience in administering and managing a funded project, including budgetary aspects and supervising personnel. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). A strong belief that all children can benefit from inclusive educational settings.

The FIN Regional Facilitator will assist in the development and implementation of innovative, research-based instructional methodologies and support models for inclusive education of students with disabilities. The Facilitator will guide and assist schools and districts in analyzing student data to develop and implement action plans to increase achievement, participation in statewide assessments, and graduation rates for students with mild to severe disabilities, including students with autism and intellectual disabilities. Facilitator duties will include the following:

*Conduct needs assessments and provide training and technical assistance to families, schools, districts, and communities to facilitate the implementation of policies and research-based practices to improve the education of students with disabilities in the Least Restrictive Environment.

* Collaborate with families and school, districts, other special project, and State Department of Education staff to support systemic change and strategic planning efforts for inclusive education in all schools, including public, private, and parochial schools serving students with disabilities in pre-kindergarten, elementary, middle, and/or high school general education environments.

*Provide professional development opportunities that include systematic initiatives (i.e., Family Involvement, and Inclusive Practices for Students with Severe Disabilities) to increase the competence of all school personnel to educate students with disabilities in the Least Restrictive Environment.

*Ability to ensure implementation of all project goals, working collaboratively with regional team, statewide network of project staff, Florida Inclusion Network administrative unit and leadership team, and the Florida Department of Education. Extensive regional travel with possible overnight stays.

*Provide professional development and technical assistance using alternate delivery methods such as teleconference, video conference, online presentations, online collaboration, and other web-based formats.

* Disseminate materials and resources necessary to support technical assistance and professional development activities.

*Gather and maintain ongoing documentation of all project activities in a central data base, including monthly and quarterly activity reports based on project evaluation criteria, a professional calendar, and an annual report of outcome data.

*Develop and write, in collaboration with other office staff, all annual project application documents for submission to the State Department of Education.
