Annual Giving Associate - Phonathon
The Department of Institutional Advancement at the College of Saint Benedict invites applications for the full time, administrative position of Annual Giving Associate - Phonathon. The Annual Giving Associate is responsible for planning, managing and implementing the student Phonathon program. This program solicits new and recurring private gifts and is designed to increase the level of individual support to the College of Saint Benedict's Annual Giving program. Additionally, the Annual Giving Associate is responsible, along with the Director of Annual Giving, for stewarding on-campus education and engagement initiatives, including assisting with student philanthropy. The Annual Giving Associate represents the College's positive image and reinforces its mission. Responsibilites 1. Plan, manage and implement an aggressive, comprehensive Phonathon program to raise annual operating dollars for CSB, including recruitment, hiring, training, supervising and evaluating student callers and supervisors; create call scripts, manage calendar and coordinate all evening calling activities to increase productivity. 2. Work with the Annual Giving Team to establish fundraising goals and priorities for the Phonathon program, including gift upgrades, donor retention, donor acquisition, and donor reactivation. 3. Prepare statistical analysis and oversee student calling reports. 4. Assist with student philanthropy education and engagement initiatives on campus. 5. Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Required: 1. Bachelor's degree is required. 2. Two years with a Phonathon program or related experience. 3. Ability to motivate, hire and mentor 18-22 year old female student workers. 4. Strong analysis skills. 5. Strong interpersonal, oral and written skills and attention to detail. 6. Strong computer experience and skills in MS Office. 7. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a complex environment and build positive and strategic relationships with internal and external clientele, especially students. 8. Ability to work efficiently with minimum supervision. 9. A commitment to philanthropy. 10. Must be able to work evening hours and some weekend hours. Preferred: 1. Experience working in a diverse team environment. 2. Direct marketing or related experience with ability to devise themes and key messaging strategies. 3. Creative, self-motivated, and enthusiastic. 4. Ability to acquire an understanding of and appreciation for the character and mission of the College of Saint Benedict.
