Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Sr. Associate Director of Admission Systems, the Associate Director for Operations is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation and management of admissions operations including process design, and developing processing and counseling staff work flow. S/he is responsible for quality control and represents the University with external vendors related to the application process. The incumbent also manages operations related to pipeline programs and is responsible for training and supporting staff on admissions systems including the Folderwave system, as well as credential evaluation and processing. On a daily basis s/he is responsible for managing and reporting on workflow, progress towards institutional goals, ensuring data integrity within admissions systems and to receiving systems. S/he manages the effective delivery of all print, electronic and web communications related to the application process, communications-related inventory, supporting the prospect mail flow, project implementation and other operations responsibilities. This position is responsible for the direct supervision of operations area staff, including work-study and co-op students. Provides support for and at recruitment events, and participates in the application evaluation process. Serves on the enrollment/ admission management team and assists in developing and implementing office policies and procedures. Actively contributes to the office welfare.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and five to seven years of progressively responsible experience. Masters preferred.Experience supervising a diverse workforce. Experience managing the operations of an Admissions Office. Thorough understanding of all aspects of the admissions process, including recruitment, application evaluation, and the enrollment of new students. Experience and understanding of admissions computer systems.
