ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, CONNECTED LEARNING
Duties: Reporting to the Connected Learning Director, the Associate Director of Connected Learning Programs is responsible for the design, development, implementation and evaluation of online executive education programs. This position is also responsible for all aspects of a portfolio of online programs for customized or open enrollment executive education clients, including prospecting, business development, consultative selling, and on-going relationship management. The candidate will develop systems to measure effectiveness of processes and planning of Connected Learning initiatives, and develop new initiatives in planning and developing new markets for online courses. S/he will work with faculty to translate face-to-face courses to hybrid and online formats, in order to deliver a high quality learning experience and outcome. The associate Director will serve as a key internal resource providing guidance and feedback on proposals, program design and support materials.
The Associate Director, in addition to program management skills, should also have high technical acumen and experience designing and developing online programs. Familiarity with latest research in learning design/instructional design theory and models required. Experience with learning management systems, webinar platforms, video platforms, and other learning tools required. Must have experience approaching and consulting with the C-suite.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree expected and 5-7 years' relevant experience. Masters's degree in education or MBA preferred.
*Familiarity with ADDIE, Blooms Taxonomy, adult learning theories required.
*Familiarity with learning management systems such as Canvas, Moodle etc., web platforms such as Adobe Connect, and video streaming platforms such as Brightcove and Kaltura required.
*Aptitude for innovative approaches to educational and management problems, including electronic media.
*Aptitude to professionally manage strategic partnerships with clients and industry associations.
*The proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with senior level executives and faculty required.
*The proven ability to think quickly in high-pressure situations.
*Ability to work early mornings, late evenings and weekends as needed and serve as essential staff in emergencies.
*Ability to travel locally and internationally as needed.
