Job Description: The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the daily operations of the Athletics Ticket Office including assisting in the administration and management of all planning, operations and fiscal management which manages revenues of more than $9 million and serves over 475,000 customers annually. This position performs its duties consistent with the goals and values of the department, division, and university and ensures compliance with NCAA, conference, university and governmental policies, procedures, regulations and guidelines applicable to the athletics ticket office operation. This position has direct influence on the strategy and management of the unit which includes, but is not limited to, business operations, customer sales and service and appropriate communication to all constituencies. Reporting to the Assistant AD for Ticket Operations, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Oversee daily operations of the athletic ticket office including customer service, scheduling of part-time and student workers, and managing staff; -Primary contact/oversee all ticketing operations for men's basketball; Assist with ticketing operations for football; Utilize Paciolan Ticketing Software and train staff on how to utilize all facets in order to maximize efficiency; Manage the Paciolan Ticketing Software-open seasons, creation of events, creation of seat manifests; Manage e.Venue; Update/maintain ticket office information website through CBS; Oversee PacMail operations for ticket office (pulling lists, sending mass communications, planning appropriate content); Work with marketing staff on revenue generating ticket promotions/oversee sales initiatives for the ticket office; Utilize Excel to prepare prospective sales lists and reports; Assist with audit preparations / help to manage internal controls; Help compile/maintain ticket office policy manual and business continuity plan; Oversee ticket scanners, access management, and attendance reports for customer service initiatives; Provide excellent customer service/answer phones; Process orders; Research order-entry mistakes / make corrections; -Travel to away football regular season and bowl games and for post season tournament events for any sport as deemed necessary to administer ticket sales and/or distributions for player and coaches guest tickets; Build quality relationships; work collaboratively and professionally with athletics, Pirate Club and University staff, students, unit vendors, outside event contacts and all constituencies and stakeholders on all levels, including face-to-face, phone, and electronic communications; Abide by all written policies and procedures of ECU, the Department of Athletics, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and all applicable conferences or associations; This individual must be able to think independently to interpret and communicate guidelines, policies etc.; Perform other duties as assigned. Preferred qualifications include: -Master's degree; Minimum three years experience in a collegiate ticket office, Division I FBS Ability to work nights and weekends; Knowledge of NCAA regulations; Knowledge of Paciolan Ticketing System Software

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Special Instructions to Applicants: This position is subject to the Career Banding Salary Administration Plan. If candidates are not identified at the Journey level, management may consider candidates at a lower competency level. Pay will be commensurate with applicant's competencies as well as budget, equity, and market considerations. Salary Grade Equivalent: 70 (for reduction-in-force priority purposes only)
