Position Information:
The Men's Head Baseball Coach will be a positive, energetic leader with the ability to teach, motivate, and recruit student-athletes. The head coach is primarily responsible for coordinating all aspects of a NCAA Division I Men's Baseball program including, but not limited to, managing day-to-day operations, recruiting academically and athletically qualified student-athletes, fostering and supporting student-athlete welfare, practice and game day preparation and coaching, scheduling, budget management, hiring and supervising assistant coaches, fundraising and public relations, and adherence to the NCAA, Big West, and University rules. The successful candidate must be able to develop positive relationships with faculty, staff, students, media, alumni, and boosters while interacting successfully with department personnel and the University community.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree plus previous demonstrated coaching and recruiting success at the collegiate level.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Strong demonstrated commitment to the academic achievement of student-athletes.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of NCAA regulations including academic eligibility requirements.
Skill in acting as a mentor.
Experience working effectively in a culturally diverse environment.
Possession of a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Head baseball coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level.
Master's degree.
