Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university * At minimum, demonstrated two years of hands-on experience implementing environmental or sustainability programs is required. * At minimum, demonstrated two years of supervisory experience.

Required Competencies/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Knowledge of sustainability methods and practices and appropriate university, state and federal laws, regulations, and policies. * The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. * Creative and positive approach to change management; a key component of sustainability. * Strong leadership skills; including excellent analytical skills; the ability to collaborate effectively with others, both internally and externally; and the ability to build and motivate a sustainability team. * Effectiveness in working with individuals from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds, both campus wide, and in the delivery of student-focused sustainability programs. * Previous experience working in a sustainability office.

Desired Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree preferably in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Studies, Environmental Science and Engineering; Urban Planning, Geography or a related field. * Graduate degree in related field * LEED Credentials * Website design and marketing skills * Previous experience working in a sustainability office.
