Education Finance Council Announces Presidential Search The Education Finance Council (EFC), the Washington, D.C.-based trade association of state and non-profit student loan providers, is recruiting qualified candidates to lead our organization as its President. Organizational Leadership - Skilled at directing and developing staff; 4. Member Relations—Excels at understanding member needs and expectations; 5. Strategic Thinking— Thinks and acts strategically by balancing the implications of internal, external, short-term and long-term factors; 6. Communication Skills— Clearly and confidently articulates complex ideas, strategies, and decisions to individuals and groups at all levels. 7.
