Position Summary: The main responsibility for this employee would be as a news writer for PAW's campus-news section, called On The Campus. This person would cover campus news by conducting interviews in person and on the telephone; reporting on lectures, student activities, meetings, and other events; developing ideas for short articles, and writing briefs. This employee would also serve as PAW's editorial assistant for memorials, working with our current Class Notes editor, who now has full responsibility for memorials. The current editor would continue to serve as PAW's liaison with class memorialists, but the new employee would edit the text and prepare the memorials for publication.

Essential Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree -1-2 years of experience in journalism. Writing samples are required. -Knowledge of/experience in social media (including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram), digital communication -Demonstrated ability to conduct interviews and to write clearly, quickly, and concisely -Demonstrated computer-research skills -Uses Word, Excel -Ability to work under intense deadline pressure

Preferred Qualifications: -Princeton alum or strong knowledge of Princeton University -Uses InDesign -Familiarity with layout, graphic design -Experience in multimedia storytelling
