Assistant to the Executive Vice President

This position is responsible for initial review of all contracts, agreements, and MOUs that are approved by the executive vice president. S/he will coordinate the clinical review process and is a liaison with SUNY Legal assuring proper and timely review of necessary documents. S/he will have oversight of the state, IFR, and ACES budgets attributed to the office assuring that they are balanced and proper policies and procedures are followed. The assistant will manage the executive vice president's travel and calendar assuring appropriate scheduling of the EVP's time and that all necessary materials are prepared and available. The ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive issues is critical. The assistant must be forward thinking, detail oriented, and possess strong planning and interpersonal skills to successfully manage the office operations.
At least five years’ experience as executive assistant or similar role. A two year administrative assistance degree or similar courses or training is preferred. Candidate must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite and be familiar with office equipment
