Term Assistant Professor, Urban Studies - Global Urbanism
Job Description Summary:
The Barnard-Columbia Urban Studies Program seeks a full-time assistant professor for a 3-year term position (with possible additional 2 year extension) beginning August 1, 2014. The program has a preference for a candidate specializing in one or more of the following areas: global urbanism; international urban governance and planning; urban, political or cultural geography; environmental sustainability; and GIS. Applicants must be prepared to teach introductory and upper level undergraduate courses.
Required Qualification Summary:
Applicants must have PhD in hand; and, prior experience and commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and advising.
