PROGRAM COORDINATOR IV
Job Summary Provide coordination for activities of visiting international delegations in terms of monitoring event activities at scheduled events, coordinate details at chosen event sites in conferral with staff, coordinate services for events at conferences between international groups, Korean and American, provide for program development, budgeting, agendas, orientation, program liaison per contractual obligations; visit with delegations coming to the US to determine specific requirements and needs, accompany state officials on international visits as needed and promote the Korea program and the international center in Georgia and Korea according to requirements of delegations; assist in networking and sharing marketing materials with Korea and Georgia partners; develop programs and services for said conferences and meetings with other University of Georgia departments in support of Korea and other international Center programs. Minimum requirements: · Master's degree, MPA or MPP or higher degree in Public Administration or Public Policy. · Work experience-12 months minimum in any suitable occupation where the needed experience is gained · Special skills- Requires minimum of Master's degree/equivalent in public policy or public administration with one year experience planning, coordinating and working with governance and related training programs with foreign provincial governments. Must be fluent in oral and written Korean. This position reports to the Director of the International Center of Carl Vinson Institute of Government and requires travel up to 15% domestic and to Korea.
