Lecturer or Professor of Practice, Finance
The Finance and Accounting area of The Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY invites applications for a non-tenure track, fixed–term position for a non-tenure track instructional faculty member in the area of finance. The position begins in August 2014, and is a one-year appointment and may be renewed. The successful candidate will provide high-quality instruction, advice and mentorship to students. Teaching responsibilities will be at both the graduate and undergraduate level. Applicants with expertise and interest in quantitative finance, corporate finance, and investments are especially desired. At minimum, candidates must possess a Ph.D. or foreign degree equivalent in finance or an appropriate related field of study. Preference will be given to candidates who can document successful teaching experience at the collegiate level. Candidates who are ABD and near degree completion may be considered. The Finance and Accounting area has 10 faculty members with plans to expand in the near future. The Lally School of Management offers B.S. MBA, Masters of Quantitative Finance and Risk Analytics and a Ph.D. program in Management that includes finance and accounting concentrations.
