The Office Supervisor is responsible for overseeing three telephone operators in a fast-paced admissions environment. The incumbent will serve as the call center team leader and interact with prospective students, their families and high school and college staff via telephone to provide expert customer service as well as work closely with our admissions team. The Office Supervisor will also trouble-shoot and resolve issues related to telephone inquiries, inform and train staff as needed, and process applications and transcripts. Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Required Education and Experience: At least one year of directly related experience in telephone technology. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Required Skills and Abilities: *Demonstrated supervisory experience including coordination of schedules and leave time. *Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as planning and organizational skills. *Ability to interact with people of a multitude of constituencies. *Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. *Demonstrated experience working with computer systems, particularly telephone technology.
