Job Description Summary
Participates in the planning, implementation and coordination of campus and college enrollment strategies with an emphasis in recruitment of students and tracking of applicants. Prepares reports on the number of prospects received, applications processes, and students enrolled as a result of recruitment activities
Coordinates recruitment events to support the enrollment goals of the College.
Reviews and updates print and non-print recruitment materials.
Assists in the identification of potential target areas and development of recruitment strategies.
Develops and maintains mailing lists for recruitment uses and distributes information to schools, business and industry, public service agencies, and other potential audiences.
Travels to targeted sites to implement recruitment activities.
Assist students with registration processing.
Assist with the orientation of students to the College.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Denotes essential function
Two years of direct admissions recruitment experience in a college setting
Ability to organize and demonstrate advanced presentation of recruitment material
Ability to utilize Banner applications to track and monitor applicants
Must have ability to communicate effectively with prospective students and parents.
Skills in keyboarding; basic grammar and math, and basic level skills in word processing (MS Word) and spreadsheet applications (MS Excel)
Proficient with Power Point
Proficient with an email software package (MS Outlook) and the Internet.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Valid Ohio Driver's license.
Must be able to meet College insurability requirements.
Must have sensitivity to respond appropriately to the needs of a diverse population.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related discipline
Three (3) years of direct admissions
Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and as scheduled during peak registration periods.
Saturday and evening hours as needed.
Target Hiring Rate/Salary 52,125.00
FT SEIU employee at Tri- C will be given 1st consideration.
