Educational Experience Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Administration, Business Administration or related field. Requires at least four years of experience in related field preferable in the areas of marketing, advertising and public relations. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.

Nature and Purpose of Position: Coordinates marketing and communications projects in support of the Division of Enrollment Management and specifically undergraduate admissions with a continued focus on online enrollment. Provides a vision for integrated marketing and communication in promoting the mission of the division.

Primary Responsibilities: Manages and oversees all marketing efforts and communication directed to undergraduate students with a focus on online student population. Manages prospective and applicant communication by managing the prospective student database, Hobsons Connect Product, or any other CRM system. Oversees the Banner to Hobsons nightly sync and imports new names into the system while managing suspect duplicate processes. Works with other departments across campus to provide assistance with communcation to prospects and provides training of the CRM system when necessary. Manages the development, creation, printing and distribution of all undergraduate recruiting materials. Responsible for communication with two outside vendors (designer and printer) and manages the request for proposal (RFP) process to select vendors for the printed materials. Manages all marketing efforts which includes web based and print advertising, search engine development, and profile oversight for the university. Responsible for managing relationships with all the vendors for marketing efforts and provides reporting on results with recommendations for future ventures. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Other Specifications: Requires strong interpersonal skills for ongoing projects and programs involving students, faculty, staff and external agencies. Must have a thorough understanding of word processing, database management, basic graphic design, and desktop publishing elements. Adheres to university requirements as it relates to marketing and promotion of the division.
