Teaches sections of Student Success Course, UNIV 101.  Assists in the development, organizing, scheduling and implementation of training programs for the development of faculty, staff and students to provide academic support, tutoring, and retention programs.  Conducts various interviews and assists students in other ways as appropriate.  Serves as a support, resource and liaison person for all program contacts and participants.

1.Provide academic counseling and referral assistance to students seeking services.
2.Teach sections of UNIV 101 and or serve as Advisement coach for UNIV instructors and Peer Mentors as needed
3.Assist in the recruitment, selection and training for Student Assistants, Peer Mentors, Tutors, and other facilitators of First Year Programs.
4.Coordinate with other campus departments and resources in the development of services and assistance in the support of retention.
5.Research and review evolving techniques and technologies which assist in the academic support and success of students.
6.Assist in the development of evaluation and assessment measures for programs, faculty, staff and student participants, coordinate programs and activities sponsored by First Year Programs.
7.Monitor progress toward stated goals and objectives identified within the university Strategic Plan, prepare reports and projects, as required, on program activities.
8.Conduct training and development courses in the support of program mission.
9.Communicate with the advised students and their families of choices available in various university academic programs. 
10.Other duties as deemed necessary by the Executive Director of Student Academic Support, Advisement Coordinator, or Instructional Training Coordinator.
