Job Description Summary/Essential Duties:

May set time lines and implements procedures for college-wide human resources functions including: benefits, regular job evaluations, performance evaluations, and special employment agreements. Supervises payroll input and insures accurate payments and timely processing. Gathers and maintains data and prepares statistical reports, research and analysis as needed. Assists employees in understanding policies; researches problems and recommends solutions through appropriate channels. May specialize in payroll, including preparing and processing the locations payroll, processing a variety of documents, employee set-ups, changes and terminations, reports, and responsible for the coordination of other related functions as assigned. May specialize in employee benefits, including employee insurance enrollment, claims resolution, workers compensation, sick leave pool contributions, disability and leave coordination, forms processing, and/or responsible for the coordination of any related functions as assigned. May specialize in employment, including, notice of vacancy process, application process, applicant communication, skills assessment testing, records maintenance, search committee process, new employee orientations, and/or responsible for the coordination of other related functions as assigned. May be assigned to oversee and maintain all employee file records (set-up and maintenance), coordinate employee performance evaluation process, employment verifications for outside requestors, and/or carry out any other duty managed by the human resources department as assigned. Prepares oral and/or written presentations related to payroll processing, performance evaluation, affirmative action, benefits, etc. May be responsible for supervision of assigned staff. Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree or higher plus three years of experience in a human resources function or Associate's degree or higher or equivalent plus five year of experience in a human resources function or graduation from high school or equivalent plus seven years of experience in human resources function. Ability to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports and communicate with others. Ability to interpret and apply administrative and department policies, regulations, and rules. Requires demonstrated oral and written communication skills to interface with individuals from diverse backgrounds. The ability to provide quality customer service. Official transcript will be required. *Will be subject to a criminal background check.*

The main responsibilities for this position will be Faculty/Administrator/PSS Searches, Job Postings, Criminal Background Checks,and assistance with anything related to PeopleAdmin. PeopleAdmin or other applicant tracking system experience preferred.
