Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalency and three years experience related to the duties of this position. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience three years)

Experience performing accurately in a detail oriented environment.

Experience prioritizing, organizing and performing multiple work assignments simultaneously.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer functions.

Knowledge of accounting systems and practices.

Ability to effectively train and direct the work of others.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Ability to compile, review, and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Background Check Requirements
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check to include fingerprinting.

Schedule
Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00 (hour for lunch

Responsibilities
Assists with and maintains all budget and financial accounting functions of the Oglesby Union, Askew Student Life Center, Student Services Building and the FSU Circus operating budgets.

Reconciles daily recaps and makes deposits for the Oglesby Union departments: Art Center, Crenshaw Lanes/Games, Guest Services, Student Activities Center, Club Downunder, Flea Market, Union Productions, ASLC Films, and Student Services Building. Balances recap to cash register and credit cards reports; Prepares the documentation for Cash Management and Financial Reporting in the Controller's Office; Prepares the daily manifest for cash pick up by Loomis Fargo.

Enters purchase order requisitions. Reconciles purchase order records to University Department Ledgers on a monthly basis, to verify correct fund and category, encumbered balances, and appropriate identification to ensure accurate payment.

Audits change and petty cash on a monthly basis. Performs accounts payables using the OMNI system; responsible for the audit and payment of vendor invoices for the Oglesby Union, assuring compliance with the University policies and procedures. Responsible for audit weekly purchasing card transactions, assuring compliance with the Florida State University policies.

Responsible for the monthly purchasing card reconciliations for all staff P card holders, and verifies that the fund and account expense are correct.

Keeps an expense log for Union Operations account
