Position Summary: The Director of Marketing is responsible for leading and executing marketing strategy to drive student recruitment for UNC Kenan-Flagler's residential and online Master of Accounting (MAC) program. The residential program is currently ranked in the top 10 MAC programs in the U.S. The online program is expected to begin its first student cohort in July 2015. The Director will report to the Managing Director of the MAC program and is charged with developing a compelling positioning vision strategy for the programs in close coordination with Kenan-Flagler's Chief Marketing Officer and the Director of Admissions Placement for the MAC program. The Director of Marketing is also responsible for designing initiatives that will increase UNC Kenan-Flagler's share of the MAC market. The Director of Marketing will be responsible for managing a team overseeing all aspects of marketing the program, including but not limited to: SEO SEM, social marketing, content marketing, web pages, multimedia, and management of external service providers and channels.

Education Requirements: A Master's Degree or equivalent is strongly preferred. A Bachelor's degree is required. All degrees must be from accredited institutions.

Qualification and Experience: A minimum of ten years of work experience is required. At least 5 years of experience in marketing, communications or business development is required. Experience managing lead generation and marketing analytics is required. Demonstrated track record of success in development of multi-channel digital marketing strategy, messages and tactical implementation is required. Managerial experience strongly preferred. Excellent oral and written communications skills required. Experience building and managing budgets required. Occasional travel, evenings and weekends required. The candidate should have the ability to handle multiple projects with frequent deadlines in a fast paced, high pressure environment. Ideal candidates will also have marketing experience from a new product, program or venture launch.
