Provide clinical and administrative support for Division activities. Respond to faculty needs as appropriate or by following established divisional guidelines. Organize flow of daily operations to ensure service priorities are met.

Key Functions and Expected Performances This position will be responsible for supporting our Neurology Vanderbilt Memory & Alzheimer's Center. Support clinical administrative duties and activities for faculty. Coordinate space and facility reservations for team meetings and research needs. Serve as an initial point of contact for the Vanderbilt Memory & Alzheimer's Center and Jefferson Laboratory

Maintain inventory of computers and equipment

Manage inventory and purchasing supplies, including maintaining appropriate paperwork and documentation for purchases

Initialize and manage extensive travel arrangements and reimbursements for faculty & guests

Prepare and coordinate visitor itineraries

Manage extremely busy faculty calendars

Identify items requiring immediate or personal attention

Compose and draft professional correspondence

Create reports and update as necessary

Engage in active listening skills

Communicate clearly and professionally (in both verbal and written form)

Communicate well with faculty, staff and patients (low frustration tolerance)

Create and maintain an organized and detailed paper and electronic filing system

Handle and distribute mail in an efficient and timely manner

Maintain contact lists

Other administrative duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

Job requires High school graduate or GED and 4 years of experience or the equivalent.
